Arenal Volcano, one of Costa Rica's most popular tourist destinations, is located near the town of La Fortuna in the province of Alajuela where it treats visitors to nightly (well, most nights) displays of orange lava flows. It is the most active volcano in Costa Rica and had its last major eruption on May 8, 1998.

This pattern uses 39 DMC colors and we suggest using 32-count Belfast Linen (Black) as the ground fabric. The pattern's stitch count is 137W x 100H, resulting in a finished size of 9" x 6" for the 32-count fabric.
